James McKeon is the Political Director at Council for a Livable World. His work focuses on arms control advocacy, non-proliferation, nuclear threat reduction, the Pentagon budget, other related policy areas, and building the Council’s political strategy to help elect and support Members of Congress who share our goals. Previously, James worked for a nuclear energy communications and policy firm and served as a Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellow at the Stimson Center.

During his undergraduate studies at Northeastern University, where he graduated summa cum laude, James spent a year as a parliamentary researcher for the Scottish National Party (SNP) at the UK Parliament in London and later interned at the White House.
