Isabel Martinez is the Office Manager for the Council for a Livable World, working directly for the Executive Director, assisting the Controller with data entry related to contributions to the organizations and endorsed candidates, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office.
Prior to working at the Council, Isabel graduated from Catholic University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics. Isabel has held internships at the U.S. House of Representatives, the Texas State Senate, a South Texas nonprofit providing affordable housing, and is a former Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation intern. While interning with the Center, she explored her interest in the connection between nuclear weapons and climate change.
