Robbi Woodson is the Development Director for the Council for a Livable World, responsible for reestablishing a robust fundraising program for the Council. She works with donors and others to understand our mission so we can continue to advocate for smart policies to reduce and eventually eliminate the nuclear threat.

While in college, Woodson was part of a six-week work-study program with the National Wildlife Federation (NWF). Due to her work ethic and performance, she was offered a position as an Editorial Assistant and stayed for three and a half years. Following her work with NWF, she worked with the National Sheriff’s Association (NSA) to work on programs with first responders under the USA Freedom Corps initiative after September 11, 2011. Her focus was on programs to help build relationships between local law enforcement and their communities. While working for NSA, Woodson became a certified crime prevention specialist with Virginia. She has also taken numerous federal training courses, receiving certifications in grants, budgeting, and cost allocation related to federal programs.

After leaving NSA, Woodson began working with the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund as Director of Strategic Partnerships to build the Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, DC, which opened in October 2018. While working with the Memorial Fund, Woodson earned a certification in fundraising management from the Lilly School of Philanthropy at the University of Indiana. Following her work with the Memorial Fund, Woodson worked with nonprofits including The Henry M Jackson Foundation for Advancing Military Medicine and First Responders Children’s Foundation.

She holds a B.A. in Government and International Policy with a concentration in Legal Studies from George Mason University.
