Shawn Rostker is a Research Analyst with the Council for a Livable World. His research investigates issues of nuclear strategy, arms control, and their technical and policy intersections with artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. He has a broad regional focus on Asia and the Indo-Pacific.
Prior to joining the Center, Rostker worked on technology policy and competition at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, as well as nuclear deterrence and the North Korean weapons program during his time at the Center for Political-Military Analysis.
He holds a Bachelor’s in International Relations from the University of California, San Diego where he graduated summa cum laude, and a Master’s in Security Studies from Georgetown University.
