BREAKING: Beto neck and neck

Friend,

BREAKING: According to the Cook Political Report, the Texas Senate seat held by Sen. Ted Cruz (R) has moved from “Likely Republican” to “Lean Republican” — and there are still three months to go.

Texas underdog candidate Beto O’Rourke (D), who has campaigned in all 254 Texas counties, has just launched his first ad of the campaign and will continue boosting his name recognition as the election nears — which could be the key to turning this race from “Lean Republican” to “Toss-Up.”

The ad is entitled “Showing Up,” and was filmed using iPhone live stream footage from his frenetic travels around Texas. (When you click on the image below, you will be redirected to view the ad on Facebook.)

Beto is one of the most enthusiastic candidates I’ve ever seen. He’s also a champion for progressive national security policies, unlike his opponent, Sen. Cruz, the anathema to nearly everything we stand for here at the Council.

Will you help Beto shock Texas and the political world by helping him win in November?

Thank you for helping this fantastic candidate.
