One week before deadline

Center,

The potential for dramatic gains in November by national security progressives remains strong.

With one week to go before this critical Federal Election Commission fundraising deadline on June 30, Council-endorsed candidates need a boost to propel them to victory. Will you support our candidates to help them win in November?

Beto O’Rourke (Texas) is running a terrific grassroots campaign that has taken him to all 254 counties in Texas. The state’s rapidly changing demographics are shifting the political ties and O’Rourke’s campaign has generated enormous enthusiasm and close polls. O’Rourke is a proven national security progressive who voted against President Trump’s new “low-yield” nuclear option.

Tina Smith (Minnesota) is a strong progressive who also recently voted against President Trump’s new “low-yield” nuclear option. The electorate in the state is closely divided.

Tim Kaine (Virginia) has a solid national security record in the Senate. He is running against an extremist who is trying to out-Trump Trump. Kaine also voted against the new nuclear option in committee.

Debbie Stabenow (Michigan) has a great record on our issues and voted for the Iran nuclear agreement and against efforts to undermine it. Michigan went narrowly for President Trump in 2016, and Stabenow needs your help to win re-election in November.

President Trump’s foreign and national security policies must be checked. A new Congress can work to prevent the President’s worst impulses from becoming reality.

Please consider a generous contribution to these four Senate candidates who can make a difference before the June 30 deadline.

Thank you for your involvement in this critical election.

Sincerely,

John D. Isaacs
