Angela Canterbury Signs Onto Letter to Congressional Appropriations Subcommittees

Angela Canterbury, Executive Director of Council for a Livable World, signed onto a letter urging congressional Appropriations Subcommittees on Energy and Water Development to reconsider funding for wasteful nuclear weapons programs and to instead fund nonproliferation efforts.

Leading Arms Control Organizations Urge U.S. to Scale Back Plans & Reduce High Costs of Unsustainable Nuclear Weapons Modernization Plan

After The New York Times published a front-page story detailing the U.S.’s trillion-dollar plans to modernize its nuclear arsenal, Council for a Livable World teamed up with leading arms control organizations in a joint press release urging the Administration to scale back these programs.
