75 former Republican and Democratic Representatives and Senators penned a letter to current Members of Congress in support of the Iran nuclear agreement, including 33 former Council endorsed candidates.
The Council and Center were two of 70 diverse organizations to sign this joint letter supporting the Iran deal.
On July 14, the U.S. and its international negotiating partners finalized a strong, verifiable agreement to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran. Tough and principled diplomacy resulted in a very good deal that will block any pathway Iran might have to a nuclear weapon for many years to come.
