The major election fight in 2014 was over control of the United States Senate. Would it be Harry Reid (D-NV) or Mitch McConnell (R-KY) serving as Majority Leader for the next two years?

While working for two years on the Pentagon Budget Campaign, a project of the Center/Council, and closely with Angela on the Campaign’s steering committee, I am eager to now split my time, lending a hand to the Center/Council development team.

Republicans continue to have an edge in the contest for control of the Senate, but there are still too many close contests to pull a Romney (A Romney: bring his major supporters to Boston in 2012 for a victory party). Mitt was 47% correct.

I hate to join the liberal-conservative rant against the mainstream media (or as Sarah Palin would say, the lamestream media), but there has been over-the-top trashing of the Alison Ludergan Grimes campaign by mainstream, lamestream and alternative media.
